Tim commenced his career in viticulture in 1991 in the Marlborough region of New Zealand working for a Cloudy Bay grower.
Following studies in viticulture he moved to the Frankland River region of Western Australia in the mid 1990s where he was the employed by Houghtons. Then on to Brokenwood Wines in the NSW Hunter Valley. In 1997 he moved to Orange to take up a position with the newly established Little Boomey (now known as Cumulus) which was to become the largest vineyard in the Orange District and one of the top 20 vineyards in Australia. In 2001 he was appointed the chief viticulturist for the company a position he held until 2004 when he set up his consulting business. (Return to Our Wines). |
