Pinot Gris 2009: (This wine is sold out - 2011 Vintage Pinot Gris available September 2011.)

Variety: Pinot Gris Region: Orange Region, NSW, Australia This Pinot Gris was picked at optimum ripeness and fermented in stainless steel fermenters at cool temperatures to retain the fresh fruit flavours and aromas. A small parcel (15%) was matured in barrel to add further complexity and texture. Winemaker notes: Colour: Pale straw with a slight green hue Aroma: The varietal aromas include fresh cut pear and citrus fruits with underlying honeysuckle blossom, rose petal and spice. Palate: This is a full-flavoured wine with lovely palate weight and texture. The citrus and fresh pear fruit flavours are soft and round with a touch of mineral complexity, finishing crisp and dry. Food: An elegant wine with a textural mouth-feel that ensures it will match of broad range of delicately flavoured dishes. Cellaring: Enjoy now and over the next five years.
