Region: Orange Region, NSW, Australia This Pinot Noir was made with the intention of letting the varietal definition of this variety show through with the oak acting as support. Subsequently, the wine has been matured in a range of new (Seguin Moreau) and older French oak barrels Winemaker notes: Colour: Light garnet in colour with a slight brick hue. Aroma: Varietal cherry, dried herbs and cranberry aromas with cigar box, spicy and smoky complexity. Palate: The palate shows cherry, red berries and spice. The fine tannins are well integrated and approachable and the finish long, complex and well-balanced. Food: A great wine to accompany game meals such as duck and venison.
